Government Funding
The Training Forum understands that developing your staff in the current economic climate can be difficult with limited training budgets available. We will work with you to find out if your employees are eligible to receive funding towards their qualification.*
Our dedicated funding team are continually receiving new funding opportunities made available by the Government and if you sign up to receive updates by email we’ll keep you updated on a regular basis so that you can take advantage of any changes and get access to any additional funding immediately.

Entry Requirements
To access government funding for an apprenticeship, a potential learners needs to:
- Be a UK citizen or been a resident in the UK for 3 years
- Be in permanent paid employment working at least 30 hrs+ relevant to the Apprenticeship they wish to take
- Not to be currently receiving government funding
Please note, if the learner has already claimed funding for an NVQ/Apprenticeship at the same level or above, funding may not be available. No funding is available for learners with a Level 4, or higher, qualification. This includes degrees and HNDs.
- Have basic literacy and numeracy skills
- You must provide on the job training and support for your employee
- Be in permanent paid employment working at least 30hrs
- Be available to attend any progress reviews with your employee and a Training Forum assessor at your workplace
- Their job must be relevant to the qualification they would like to take
- Provide mentoring and support to ensure the training is effective and motivating
- Be enthusiastic and show commitment to the training and their assessments
- Be a UK citizen or resident in the UK for the last three years
