What are Apprenticeships
Most of the vocational qualifications that The training Forum offers are delivered through the Apprenticeship programme. Apprenticeships show that employees have the skills and knowledge relevant to a specific job role and provide a recognised qualification for the job they’re in. Gaining such a qualification is based on practical activities related to a specific occupation or vocation.
There are also other vocational training programmes designed to teach and develop skills related to wider business needs that are not part of the apprenticeship programme.
Vocational qualifications and Apprenticeships programmes aim to:
- Provide employers with a competent, motivated and more productive workforce
- Offer an alternative to full-time study
- Develop practical skills for the workplace
- Give employees a nationally recognised qualification
- Deliver work based training
